This kid right here. He may dress up on the Dark Side but make no mistake that this boy is all light and love. It is not his fault he has a seizure disorder. Any law that would prevent him from attending school is discriminatory and I will continue to fight this legislation with every ounce of my being. #NoOnSB276 #galaxysedge #disneyland

My son is a 5th generation native to California. After suffering multiple seizures, hospital stays and developmental delays following routine vaccinations our Dr’s told us to stop. Now our last hope to keep him in school is our governor as the CA legislature has passed a law the keeps vaccine injured children like mine from being able to attend any school - public or private. Even if our existing valid Medical exemption withstands the PHD scrutiny, we would still have to waive our privacy rights and turn over our whole family’s medical histories into a gov’t database. I realize it's spring but today I'm working on gathering up the photos I want to use for the March spreads in my family album. This one from our snow day last month tops the list in terms of details I want to remember and the stories I want to tell. Tell me, as we head into the weekend, what photo projects are you planning to work on this month?

This is me circa 2019. Self portraiture is soooo difficult for me in this current season. I know I’m not supposed to say it and I believe that body positivity is important but I just can’t stand seeing myself in photos when I am obese. If being plus-sized isn’t hard enough, now I’m contending with age spots and wrinkles and random hairs growing out of moles on my face that seem to be taking over my face. Last year I worked hard and lost 40 pounds and was feeling so much confidence and hope about my body but somewhere around the time of a birthday trip to Las Vegas I stopped “dieting” and then around December I stopped exercising and now it is April 1st and I’ve gained back almost every pound I had previously lost. It’s humiliating to admit but I feel like I need to stop burying my head in the sand and start doing something about this one thing that keeps dragging me down. Anyway, despite my insecurities and avoidance the week 1 prompt for my project 52 is finally complete.

In February I completed a vision board as part of the #OLW prompt to go along with my word for the year "Stretch." I had never done one before and seriously LOVED the process. It hangs on the wall right next to my desk and as I'm planning out my April calendar today, I find myself looking at my board and reflecting on how I'm living my life with more intention around the things that are most
important to me.
